Is it possible to generate demand forecast if shipment history available is not uniform?

Hi,

We have a business scenario in textile industry where shipment history available is not uniform.

The demand of the assembly item is based on the order that the customer gives. Our business scenario works in the following way:

1) The customer gives order for an assembly item (let's assume it as F/G item) - This is our demand and these orders aren't uniform, they can come on any day.
2) Work Orders are created based on sales order (MTO) - Note: these are based on fixed order quantity.
3) After worker orders are created, they are put into a production schedule.
