Login button not working after SSO

We've just enabled SSO for our CP and are able to successfully login, however we've also noticed the "Login or Sign up" button no longer works, clicking on the button gets no response. I've also noticed in chrome developer tools that the button has an ID of "rn_DisabledLoginLink". What's the best approach to implementing a way for customers to login via sso? Could we use the existing button or login widget?
