Answer ID 1925 clarification needed - which changes from the upgrade site list
We are preparing to upgrade from May 2017 to August 2017. Answer ID 1925 lists "Which changes are carried forward from production at upgrade cutover, and which changes are from the upgrade site"
At the bottom of the list
- Configuration Settings
- Custom Mail Scripts
- Customer Portal
- Message Base
are listed as coming from the Upgrade site. What does this mean? We have customized our customer portal, message bases and configuration settings as would most customers. Is that all going to be wiped out by the upgrade?
I've been through the upgrade site and it appears to be working ok, but the documentation is confusing and I just need to make sure we are clear on what is happening with those items when the upgrade goes through on production.
