Delete Attachments in Bulk

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an out of the box function to delete attachments as a bulk task that anybody knows of? Basically, we want to delete every file that is attached to an incident that is over a month old.

I figure that something can probably be done using the APIs, but just wanted to know if there was a simpler method that I hadn't come across yet.... 

We can run a report giving us a list of the files obviously, and all the attendant attributes - just not sure if there's a "next step" whereby we can delete them either in one go, or at least in sizeable chunks?
