I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology or not but essentially, we need to create a snapshot in time of the values in the fields of an incident (or opportunity in my particular case) so we can see how the incident/opportunity has changed over time.  In my previous life, we used to call these "baselines" but that term is not used in Oracle.

The overall goal is to be able to look back at saved configurations over time to see how values they've changed.  We would want these configurations to be saved by manual interaction (like clicking a "save configuration" button in the workspace).

Howdy, Stranger!
