We are currently implementing a termination and turnover dashboard in Oracle HCM Cloud. The business requirement is that line managers should only be able to view data for their direct and indirect subordinates, including terminated employees.

We have created a Person Security Profile using custom SQL predicates to attempt to control access based on the manager's hierarchy. The custom logic is syntactically valid and deploys correctly in FSM; however, the filtering behavior is inconsistent and not aligned with the expected results
