Fatal error when trying to extend standard Answer model

I have a custom model called answers_model.php under the /customer/development/models/custom folder. I'm trying to have this model extend the standard Answer.php class. But I'm running into a fatal error that states:

Found the model file that you specified, but could not find the expected class name of ‘Custom\Models\answers_model’.

I've also tried following the solution mentioned here but to no avail.

answers_model.php file

namespace Custom\Models;<br /> \RightNow\Models\Base::loadModel(&#39;Answer&#39;);<br /> class answers_model extends \RightNow\Models\Answer<br /> {<br /> function __construct() <br /> {<br /> parent::__construct(); <br /> }<br /> .<br /> .<br /> .<br /> }

Howdy, Stranger!
