Minimising Web Service calls from external application
I know this is an old concept but just wanted disturb the equilibrium here,
I have developed a windows app to schedule batch from external apps to OSvC. There are quite a few API calls made to OSvC to create, find and update records.
Recently got a notification from OSvC DBA team stating the load on their servers have increased 10 times than before and server might crash
My questions are:
- How can we optimise the web service calls to OSvC?
- Would "Multi-thread programming" help?
- Are there any other ways to bundle the request as one and send it for execution?
