Incorrect city name listed as tax jurisidiction
For address validation, we are seeing strange results on the tax jurisdiction report for employees with home addresses in Chicago, Illinois. As a Chicago-based employer, we have many employees who reside in Chicago. For all of them, the city listed as derived local jurisdiction on the tax jurisdiction report is Jefferson Park.
Jefferson Park is not a city. It is a neighborhood. As anyone familiar with the city of Chicago may know, the city is comprised of many neighborhoods. Neighborhoods are not tax jurisdictions. Even if they were, Jefferson Park would not be the neighborhood applicable to all Chicago residents.
