    Introducing Oracle Public Cloud Machine - Oracle Cloud on Premises

    Session will introduce audience to Oracle Public Cloud Machine, announced at OOW 2015. For various business and/or

    technical reasons, customers may wish to consume Oracle Cloud services within their own data centers. Oracle Public Cloud Machine provides these capabilities, with industrial-strength IaaS for running Oracle applications such as E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, Siebel, E-Commerce, Weblogic etc, and PaaS services such as Database Cloud Service, Java Cloud Service and Integration Cloud Service, along with the capability of seamless portability between Oracle Public Cloud and Cloud Machine.

    M7 SPARC Software in Silicon Features Provide Security, Performance for the Cloud

    Cloud deployments need high security and robust performance levels.  The Oracle M7 SPARC processor contains software in silicon features that enable better security and performance in cloud deployments.  This session will examine SQL in Silicon and Security in Silicon features such as Silicon Secured Memory (SSM) and cryptographic acceleration, and then explain how they will make cloud deployments more secure and higher performance.


    The session will be about 20-25 minutes and will be given by an engineer from Oracle's acclaimed microprocessor development team.

For the first time, customers can run their Oracle databases in the cloud with the same functionality, performance and availability experienced by 1,000s of organizations deploying Exadata on-premises. This session provides a technical overview of the Exadata Cloud Service along with best practices for efficiently deploying, managing and scaling Oracle Databases in the Cloud.
