    FAQ

Q: How can we find out if we're already using the new Eloqua Engage app, or if we still need to update?

ANew Engage provides sales users with an enhanced experience when reviewing digital profiles of their contacts. Please review the before and after comparison provided above or have a look at the Eloqua Help Center where you will find more examples of Classic and New Engage.

Q: Is this an app our sales users will need to install via the iPhone app store?
A: No, this is an Eloqua app that has been automatically installed. Sales reps don’t need to install anything on their mobile device.

Q: How do Sales Professionals access this on their mobile devices?
A: Reps can access Engage by navigating to the Engage URL. Reps can then pin the URL to their homepage on their mobile device for easy access.

    Q: What devices are supported?
A: For a complete list of supported devices and browsers, please see our documentation.

Q: Can I still embed Engage inside my CRM?
A: Yes, this new version of Engage also works on desktop. If you previously had Engage embedded or linked in your CRM, then you will need to update your URL to access Engage.  For instructions please see our documentation.

Q: Will existing signatures rules need to be reconfigured after the migration?

A: Signatures Rules set up within your Oracle Eloqua instance will continue to be available with the (New) Engage. Personalised Signatures set-up with Classic Engage will have to be reconfigured within the (New) Engage after installation. More information can be found here.

Q: Is there a standalone app for this or can it only be accessed via the direct URL or from within Salesforce?

A:  (New) Engage is only accessed via a direct URL. It is not an app in the app store. You can use this URL to embed new profiler into SFDC. With our 18A release, all Classic Engage URLs will redirect to new Engage. Therefore, if Classic Engage is embedded inside Salesforce,  it will show new Engage automatically (given that new Engage is installed). We recommend updating to the new URLs. See our documentation to update the CRM URL's within SFDC. It contains the various URLs we have for Engage, direct, auto-login, SSO.
