Maintaining a Domain Registration

    Throughout the lifecycle of a domain name, you may need to make changes to the registrant information or name server delegation. This guide is meant to be a reference for the various fields you will encounter while managing a domain registration in Dyn’s system.

    3. Click on the name of the domain you want to administer.Screen Shot 2014-11-03 at 9.50.28 AM

    4. Select the item you want to modify:

     

    • Status - Lock or Unlock the domain registration for transfer.
    • Nameservers - Follow the instructions on the screen after clicking the Edit Nameservers button. If you are delegating to Standard DNS or Managed DNS/Managed DNS Express, follow the instructions for the respective service to ensure uptime.
    • Contacts - Allows you to view or edit the contacts for the domain.
    • DNSSEC - DS Records Allows you to add DS records for enabling DNSSEC.

    Settings will be committed after any of these options are changed.
