Session Title:

DEMO - Big Data - Oracle to Hadoop

Session Abstract:

Big Data enables many new ways to leverage data. Now in order to achieve that, we will have to integrate both structured and unstructured data. With Hadoop being used  to process unstructured data and this data has to be combined structured data seating in RDBMS for analysis. Thus it all starts with the most common requirement of transferring of data between RDBMS and Hadoop to enable advanced analysis.  Oracle Big Data Connectors and Oracle Loader enables you to achieve this by providing high performance connectivity between Hadoop and Oracle. This hands-on-lab illustrates how Oracle BigData Connectors are used to link data between Oracle and Hadoop.  The session explains

1. How to configure Oracle Big Data Connectors

2. Load data from Oracle to Hadoop and vice versa

3. How to query big data from your Oracle SQL prompt

4. What are the limitations which helps you to define the scope of data movement
