Position Title: Marketing Operations System Administrator

Job Location: Frisco, TX

Reports To: Director, Marketing Operations

Position Summary:


The Marketing Operations System Administrator will be a key member of the Marketing Operations team responsible for the successful implementation, management and day-to-day operations of marketing technologies and automation systems.  The ideal candidate must possess a passion for using technology to meet the needs of the business and improve processes in a fast paced working environment.  This position will play a dynamic role within a marketing department making a trans-formative and successful move to marketing automation and digital concepts and practices.

  • Responsible for managing the marketing database and marketing automation system
  • Assist with the architecture of solutions to meet business needs using marketing systems
  • Provide day-to-day system maintenance and configuration of programs on marketing system platforms
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing for programs written
  • Configure and manage data cleansing and enrichment programs on marketing database
  • Create technical documentation of marketing processes and campaigns
  • Proactively collaborate and manage relationships with colleagues in IT and Sales Operations
  • Maintain knowledge of, and leverage, industry best practices relating to digital marketing systems development, maintenance, and management

Skills & Specifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems and CRM solutions
  • Solid technical understanding and application of digital marketing channels to engage and propel end customers along their buyer journey
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices
  • Sharp technical troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with development teams to debug issues
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem solving and creative solution building skills


  • Bachelor's degree; Business, Marketing or Computer Science preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing automation experience, preferably Eloqua
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Eloqua, Oracle CRMOD, Oracle SRM, SQL and relational databases
  • Any Eloqua certification will be considered a strong asset
  • Basic web development knowledge (JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, CSS)
  • Familiarity of ASP.Net MVC, C# and TFS a plus
