The Marketing Effectiveness Manager will be responsible for supporting our overall marketing scorecard and reporting across critical Marketing KPIs and reporting in general through interlocks across our marketing infrastructure. Critical to this role is thoughtful analysis of our reports to draw insights that can be used in key decision making around our marketing planning, resourcing and delivery process.


This role will work closely with internal groups including peers within the Marketing Operations team, Marketing Automation teams, Marketing Analytics, Regional Marketing, Proposition Marketing, Sales and Business Intelligence to outline reporting requirements that meet our needs and help deliver optimization in our campaign processes.



  • Complete analysis on marketing programs on key metrics such as growth, retention, attrition, reactivation, and promotion response.
  • Provide post-event analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve the return on investment and profitability of future campaigns.
  • Assist marketing managers in answering key questions by translating analytic data into actionable information and recommending a course of action.
  • Partner closely with our colleagues in Finance to insure there is complete alignment across our reporting and theirs
  • Partner with business (i.e. Marketing Council, Finance partners, GTM leaders, etc.) on the development of ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to influence future marketing initiatives
  • Ad hoc analysis, report generation and/or special project work as required.
  • Constant curiosity into our data to deliver reporting that will drive continual improvements in how we deliver our marketing plans and processes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, in highly matrixed organization, with skill, attention to detail, tenacity, and a focus on results.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvement across the Marketing Effectiveness group




Education and Experience:

  • University degree in business or marketing related field. MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience
  • Highly proficient with reporting and data analysis, managing reporting requirements, dashboard builds
  • Direct experience in marketing or demand generation fields
  • Strong CRM (SFDC preferred), and Marketing Automation (Eloqua preferred) experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau a plus
  • Proven experience navigating complex global and matrixed businesses
  • Track record of engaging senior leadership and being a catalyst for change- Direct experience in the financial field or information industry a plus.

  • Strong business processes acumen, especially in CRM and Marketing Automation environment
  • Reporting – across, BO, Tableau
  • Cross-functional collaboration / Influencing decisions

  • Clear understanding of demand generation strategy

Your Next ChallengeThe Eloqua Marketing Specialist is a key role in the organization responsible for all facets of global email and marketing automation operations, supporting all marketing and customer email communications. Activities include: building complex nurture and triggered email communications programs, testing assets and programs, managing the content localization process, identifying and implementing marketing operations best-practices, researching issues, and supporting our internal clients. This position will report to the Marketing Operations Manager within the Global Marketing Operations organization.

  • Manage all facets of the Eloqua platform – configuring, testing, launching, and maintaining programs
  • Collaborate with internal, and agency, marketing and business partners to ensure timely and high quality execution of email campaigns and programs
  • Manage all aspects of building a program/campaign in Eloqua, including building emails and landing pages, designing nurture/triggered programs, testing assets and programs, launching campaign, and troubleshooting issues
  • Manage the prospect database fields, build custom data objects
  • Manage Eloqua integrations with CRM, data warehouse, and other internal and external systems, apps and tools
  • Support the localization process for all global emails and landing pages, working with our localization team and vendors
  • Provide Eloqua support to internal, self-service users. Work with field marketing teams to educate them and support local needs
  • Continually develop our Eloqua expertise – identify and implement best practices, drive feature requests into the vendor, etc.
  • Test and QA Eloqua assets including emails, forms and landing pages

What You’ll Need

  • Eloqua expertise is an absolute requirement – certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in this field, either with a large B2B organization or ad/consulting agency
  • A. in Marketing, Technology, or related field
  • Adept at working in a high-pace organization with constant change – we’re constantly evolving
  • Amazing communication skills – both written and verbal
  • High EQ is a must
  • Follow-through and attention to detail – you don’t leave loose ends
  • Global experience a plus
  • Good understanding of B2B email/nurture marketing practices, engagement strategies, and anti-spam laws

  • Demonstrable experience leading SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Eloqua strongly preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking – Tableau experience a plus
