Provide generic 'monospace' default for monospace fonts

In a technical forum like this, it is quite common to want to highlight some text as a code keyword or fragment, similar to Stack Overflow's backticks. The "Font family" dropdown provides a choice of two monospace fonts, Andale Mono and Courier New, which generate the following CSS:

    <span style="font-family: 'andale mono', times;">Andale Mono</span>

    <span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;">Courier New</span>

Neither of them has a monospace fallback, and the "times" default for Apple font Andale makes it look weird on Windows.

Please could a generic monospace default be added - or even better, a simple 'Code' option?

What it should be is:

    <span style="font-family: 'andale mono', monospace;">Andale Mono</span>

    <span style="font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;">Courier New</span>

(Or merge into one list labelled "Fixed" or similar.)

Or just replace both with a 'code' option:

    <code>your text</code>

with some CSS styling to make it stand out a bit more than it does currently.
