Sayan is just finishing up his first decade focusing on Oracle Database application development, but in that time he has learned a lot and worked hard to share what he has learned with the broader community.
An Oracle ACE Associate (2015), Oracle Certified performance tuning expert, and two-time PL/SQL Challenge Championship Playoff participant, Sayan specializes in Oracle Database performance. He is has deep knowledge of the Cost Based Optimizer, SQL, PL/SQL and Java. In 2013, he was award "Best in IT" by his employer for helping the bank save more than $1 million through his performance tuning work.
Sayan uncovered two critical vulnerabilities in Oracle Database; his contribution was acknowledged in the Credit Statement of the Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory in July 2014 (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/cpujul2014-1972956.html ).
