AAFCO (US) Pet Food Nutrition Facts Format
AAFCO has updated their Pet Food Regulations, to present pet nutrition facts in a format more similar to the human nutrition facts panel.
Enhancement required to provide a new nutrition format to align with the new pet food declaration requirements.
We are currently unable to display the correct placement of information within the Declaration Tab. This creates a lot of manual entry for the supplier, as well as reliance on an additional PDF to be provided to our marketing team to direct them on which panel to use and how it should be correctly labelled. Our only other option is for suppliers to upload a completed PDF in a text only field. While this would save a lot of manual entry, it creates an inability to capture information correctly in the spec that can be searched and/or exported through reporting.
