MFCS Stock Counts handling snapshot capture across regions with different EODs
In MFCS, the STKUPD batch captures the EOD system snapshot for stock counts based on the stocktake date matching the current vdate. Due to global operations across regions with different local EODs, the nightly STKUPD batch may capture transactions from the next business day for some regions, causing incorrect stock count reconciliation and variance between the book snapshot and actual count. An enhancement request is logged to improve batch performance and enable region-wise batch runs to handle time zone differences. Currently, STKUPD is not supported as an ad-hoc invocation from the POM standalone cycle.
Recommendation to stagger stock counts region-wise aligned with local EODs and coordinate with Oracle support for updates is not a viable solution for the customer.
