I'm trying to install Oracle Database 11gR2. At the Oracle Database configuration step (more exactly Oracle database Configuration assistant step, which is In progress), the progress bar is at 85% for 2 hours, and nothing happens. I looked up in logs, but there are no errors. How much should i wait, and why it hangs at 85%?
which logs you have looked? is it installation/configuration log files..?
ORACLE instance shut down.
ORACLE instance started.

Also, for which process should i set the priority to high?
Database mounted. Is this information in logfile belongs to recent date & time?
If so the database is created and opened too. Just connect from SQL session and check the status of the instance. If it is in READ WRITE mode, You can safely cancel DBCA if there is no process so far.
Go to windows task manager --> in applications check your program right click and go to process --> on that process again right click set priority ---> give high.
Yes, it belongs to a recent date&time
it seems that i can connect to the instance, and status is:
So can i press Stop, in dbca? at 85%?

Assuming you did not switch it off, last step in postcreation.sql is creating and starting the Enterprise Manager (dbconsole, database control). I guess here occurs a problem.
emctl status dbconsole
Dbconsole is not mandatory, so the database itself may be ok (possibly the EM repository is not created).

This stage of 85% is at "Complete database creation", so i'm curious what more completion can occur, if the database is mounted and opened (that 15% remaining percent what is it for). i hope i will not loose something essential by issuind Stop dbca
Check any event logs found in event viewer and perform some research
Well, i think i will stop dbca at 85% and i will create manually the EM dbconsole
