From OSM 7, oracle has introduced an entity called order item specification. This, in my understanding, represents various order line items that can be submitted in a (sales) order. As you may know, there is a life cycle policy that can be associated to the order entity in OSM that helps one to control the state transition and define permissions. Now it is just logical to expect a similar life cycle be defined for the individual line item level and manage it using a policy.
Am wondering why did oracle not want to use the life cycle policy under the orderITEM too as available for an order.
