pack.sh command failed: CFGFWK-60550:  Script execution aborted.

    OldGuy
We have IDAM 11.1.1.5 installed with all its bits and pieces running on RHEL5.6 on 2 hosts. We want the hosts clustered and we are using Grid Clusterware to create the RAC cluster for the database (11.2.0.1) with WLS 10.3.5 installed.

We installed the IDAM Suite (will call oam) and are extending the WLS domain via the <oam home>/common/bin/config.sh. Within this, we extend the domain by including "Oracle Access Manager with Database Policy Store", creating managered servers (WLS_OAM1, WLS_OAM2, wls_ods1, and wls_ods2) for both hosts, creating clusters (OAM_CLUSTER and ODS_CLUSTER) and then idenitifying them with their respective machines. Once extended, we pack/unpack (successfully) the current domain without error.

      cd /opt/oracle/product/fmw/oam/common/bin
      pack.sh -domain=/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain/ -template=/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar -template_name="OAM Domain" -managed=true

      *<< read domain from "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
*>> succeed: read domain from "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
*<< set config option Managed to "true"*
*>> succeed: set config option Managed to "true"*
      *<< write template to "/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar"*
      *....................................................................................................*
*>> succeed: write template to "/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar"*
      *<< close template*
      *>> succeed: close template*

      And unpack.sh:

      cd /opt/oracle/product/fmw/oam/common/bin
      unpack.sh -domain=/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain/ -template=/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar  -overwrite_domain=true -app_dir=/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/applications/IDMDomain/

      *<< read template from "/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar"*
*>> succeed: read template from "/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain.jar"*
*<< set config option OverwriteDomain to "true"*
*>> succeed: set config option OverwriteDomain to "true"*
*<< set config option AppDir to "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/applications/IDMDomain"*
*>> succeed: set config option AppDir to "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/applications/IDMDomain"*
*<< set config option DomainName to "IDMDomain"*
*>> succeed: set config option DomainName to "IDMDomain"*
      *<< write Domain to "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
      *...............................................................................................*
*>> succeed: write Domain to "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
      *<< close template*

We then once again (according to the docs), extend the domain to include the other products:
           Oracle Identity Manager
           Oracle SOA Suite
Oracle Adaptive Access Manager – Server
Oracle Adaptive Access Manager Admin Server
           Oracle Entitlements Server
           Oracle Identity Navigator
           Oracle WSM Policy Manager

We then follow the same process to create their respective managed servers, clusters, and assign them to their machines and extend the domain.

Rather than pack/unpack as this point, the docs appear to say to run <oam home>/bin/config.sh to configure the OIM server. When this completes, we try to run pack but get the following error:

      *[oracle@esdc01-rac1 bin]$ pack.sh -managed=true -domain=/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain/ -template=/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain2.jar -template_name="OAM Domain"*
      *<< read domain from "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
*>> succeed: read domain from "/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain"*
*<< set config option Managed to "true"*
CFGFWK-60550:  Script execution aborted. The script may contain an error.
      null

I find very little information about this online and thus far all Oracle support can do is ask for screen prints and pass the issue on to other groups.

The pack.sh failed the second time and we need to know why if anyone knows... or if anyone can help...

            *[oracle@esdc01-rac1 bin]$ pack.sh -managed=true -domain=/opt/oracle/product/fmw/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain/ -template=/opt/oraInventory/IDMDomain2.jar -template_name="OAM Domain"*

I ran the pack.sh command with -log turned on... not sure if this helps anyone give a reason for this happening...

btw... the /tmp/tmpPack7536931564724185978cws does not exist after running the command...

Related problem (with more detail) when trying to clone the domain with a different name using unpack.

I got the CFGFWK-60550:  while running the pack.sh

                  my scenario was -- Weblogic10 domain --> upgraded to 12 -->running pack.sh command.

the error was due to WAR file which is deployed to admin server .

remove the deployment on Admin server and problem is resolved.

May be beacuse the war file was from weblogic10 --Weblogic12 pack.command not able tp pack it.

can you run the command again with the -app_dir option.

-app_dir defines the full path to directory used to store the applications defined in the template.
