    Creating a sequence manually

    805968
      Hi,

I have run into a problem. I have an entity store which has two secondary indexes, and the keys used in these indexes are assigned from an external source as a result of a clustering process. I want to assign these keys from a sequence, however I don't know how to create sequences manually. The Database.openSequence() method expects a DatabaseEntry object as the second parameter, but I don't know where this object should come from. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Problem using secondary database, sequence (and custom tuple binding)

The DatabaseEntry you supply is any key you choose. It identifies the sequence within the Database that you create to store the sequence. For example, you could have several sequences and assign a unique key to each one.
