    JDK 1.7.0 32bit not working in Red hat linux 32bit version in 5.7

      I am getting the following error while running jdk1.7.0 in the following Linux environment:

      Error that I am getting while invoking JVM is:

      Error: dl failure on line 875
      Error: failed jdk/jre/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so, because jdk/jre/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied


      #cat /etc/issue

      Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (Tikanga)
      Kernel \r on an \m

          Well like you should have done, I pasted "Error: failed jdk/jre/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so, because jdk/jre/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied" into google and checked the results. Guess what: you are not the only person with this problem and people have found solutions.

          Its such a wonderful tool, Google. It just spits out answers left and right without asking anything in return. And it does so faster than it took you to register to this forum.
