Sorry to wake up a zombie, but I am running into the same problem as the original poster. With one exception. (Two actually)
1. I was able to create a connection in the Server Explorer using Oracle Data Provider for .NET
2. I am not using Visual Studio Express.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
Version 10.0.30319.1 RTMRel
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.0.30319 RTMRel
Installed Version: Professional
Microsoft Visual C# 2010
Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio 184.108.40.206.0
Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio Copyright (c) 2005, 2010
Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional - ENU (KB2483190) KB2483190
I get as far as Step 4 under Creating an Entity Data Model using the Entity Data Model Wizard at this tutorial .
I obtained the ODAC download from here.
Is there any possible way to assist me in resolving this road block?
Edit: It seems my links didn't get formatted into actual links and are instead just plain text. (Or at least that is what I see. Sorry.)

I have installed VS2010 Premium, ODTwithODAC112021.
I am able to connect to Oracle schema from "Server Explorer" using Oracle Database (Oracle ODP.NET), but unable to see the "Oracle Database (Oracle ODP.NET)" provider when trying to access from "Entity Data Model Wizard" and unable to see the oracle schema in choose connection drop down list also.
I am following the steps mentioned in the below link, but no luck.
I am not getting the Step 4 in section "Creating an Entity Data Model using the Entity Data Model Wizard" in above link.
If anybody able to connect oracle database using "Entity Data Model Wizard" to generate data model, please help me in this regard.
