Thank you forums, seems many times I start a post after struggling for a bit I find the answer myself :-)
Anyway, I found a solution in my own notes and it's quite simple. While extracting the tar, it fails as unexpected end of file, so there is some data missing. In this case, it's the next part. The soltion is to concatenate the two files before attempting a tar extract. Example follows.
Maybe someone like me might stumble across this post in the future.
[root@vochomurka seed_pool]# cat OVM_EL5U2_X86_64_TOOLS_8_50_09_ELM_9_1_2_PVM.tgz.1of2 OVM_EL5U2_X86_64_TOOLS_8_50_09_ELM_9_1_2_PVM.tgz.2of2 >> OVM_TOOLS.tgz [root@vochomurka seed_pool]# tar -xvf OVM_TOOLS.tgz
I think you should first start reading the readme document provided within the templates, this is very well explained :
# cd /OVS/seed_pool
# cat \
# mkdir OVS/seed_pool/OVM_EL5U2_X86_64_ELMDB_9_1_2_PVM
# cd OVS/seed_pool/OVM_EL5U2_X86_64_ELMDB_9_1_2_PVM
# tar -xvf OVM_EL5U2_X86_64_ELMDB_9_1_2_PVM.tgz

This was a great Solution.
I've spent a long time trying to understand what happened while extracting the files as the README.txt explained and got failed.
Thank You Very Much!
