Stateful session bean in cluster environment

      Hi there,

I am giving berif explaination how Stateful Session bean is implemented in my Application.

Stateful session bean is having ValueObject which defined at class level [public]. This Value Object is updated until process [couple of page navigation] is completed. Application is not giving any problem when Application is running on single server If Application is deployed in cluster environment the Value Object is not replicated from one server to another server during load balance time.

      My questions are:

      1. Is it mandatory to implements java.io.Serializable for Statful session bean?
      2. what steps has to be performed in code propective or server configuration level?
      3. How to pull all Statful session bean information from server to track both servers are having or not same information of Statful session bean?

Please give me suggestion how to over head issue.

      Thank you advance

EE spec does not require support for clustering so you should look into your application server's documentation to see how to configure it.

Here is an example of how to do it on JBoss: http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/4.3/html/Server_Configuration_Guide/clustering-session-sfsb30.html
