I am able to connect to oracle db in command prompt but unable to create a table in sql command line & the error is sp2-0640
I have the same question

Welcome to the forum!
Are you sure you've already connected, and that you haven't somehow disconnected? Show exactly what you did, and what response you got, before issuing the CREATE TABLE statement.
SP2-0640 means your not connected to a database. There's not much you can do in SQL*Plus without connecting to some database.
Log in with your username and password.
Depending on your SQL*Plus version, you might do this:
SQL> CONN username/password
