is this independently from the setting -Xmanagment:port=xxxx which I did for remote wls? Do we have multiple server parts for a working connection between jrmc and jvm? Because telnet works for the specified port xxxx.
-Xmanagement:port=xxx sets the rmi registry port
With R28, the rmi server port can be set with -Xmanagement:rmiserver.port=xxx (but it defaults to the same as rmi registry port)
With R27 you can't set the rmi server port, it will be set at random, so you'd need to set up a tunnel everytime you make a new connection, and you also need to find out which port has been assigned.
The rmi server port is where the actual communication between jrmc client and jvm server will take place.
Is it possible for you to change your server jvm?
If you switch to R28 on your server, you should also add
to your commandline. That's the hostname reported from server to client, and is needed if you're using tunneling.
I have no ideia why but...
I was setting a different port number to RJMC and i could not connect in my JVM, after change the number in arguments od server initialization i got the connection perfectly.
arguments used: -Xmanagement:ssl=false,authenticate=false,port=7091
any ideia why is this happening?
