I'm trying to launch a debug session from deep within a custom initialization script, but am having trouble. (w/ Studio 12.3 on Solaris) dbxtool keeps trying to parse the command line arguments itself. I found a different thread that suggested "double escaping" the args, but I am unable to modify my start-up script this way. ss_attach sees my IDE running and tries to connect. IDE asks me to select a project. ss_attach then reports "ss_attach: session start in GUI failed -- IDE error" and proceeds to start my application with no debugging.
Is there a way to get either/both tool(s) working?

Forgot to check, did you modify your script to have ss_attach prepended right before the application you want to debug? also double check in pop-up "ss_attach Request" dialog, the executable that ss_attach is about to execute is the application you want to debug, not the script that launch your application.
