1) Does indexer support user's list of words to be excluded from the search database?
2) When image generation is switched off by any means (java.awt.headless=false and no X server for example) the "printable page" button loads topic into the top frame without changing the bottom frame. So the printable page consists of two frames with the same content. It looks like a bug.
3) Iframe added by ohw's view_topic.js causes Internet Explorer 6.0 to generate security alert every time when it loads the topic page by HTTPS (middle-low security settings), at the same time IE 5.0 does not show a lot of topics at all. I think it is not important but it is not hard to imagine the situation where web help is accessed via HTTPS.
Just tied #2 (turning on headless mode) and could not reproduce the problem you are describing in OHW 2.0.8. If this still reproduces for you, and this is the only variant in your environment, please let us know your OS and servlet container versions.
Its scheduled for a future release, but we are not planning a new minor release any time in the near future. As a workaround, you can turn headless mode on in the situation where you do not have an X server. (Note that this will not repro if you are using a Windows based server, or if you have X installed).
Sorry, I missed the full implication of this before.
I am getting a problem with "printable page" running OHW under Tomcat on Windows XP. Either the bug is not UNIX-specific, or (and more likely) I've hit another bug. What happens is this: when I select "printable page", the tab headers go away, but a blank "blotch" overlays the headers at the top left side of the page.
It's a transparent blotch. I discovered that it only happens in Firefox 1.0.4, and only if I move "back" and "forward" within the same tab. Clearly some sort of weird Firefox bug, which I guess we can live with.
