I just took a new position and they work with weblogic 10.3 here. In going through the code I cannot find where the SRC files for some of the methods that I'd like to take a look at. I need to find src files for the portal, portlet, etc.
Is there a JAR or ZIP src file somewhere in the bea directory? I looked but to no avail. I asked some team members but no one seems to know where they are (I realize this sounds weird) but that was the response I got.
Please help. I've googled for this question as well but can't seem to find any help there either.
Any HELP/DIRECTION would be greatly appreciated.
That is quite simple.
look for your user workspace mostly eg: abc on following location like d:/abc
Now get into your Project where you want to find the code there you will find folder called src.
Now you will find all the code with in the src.
Hope this should help you.
I appreciate the reply but I don't think I made myself very clear. I know where the src files of our own code is. The issue when I am reviewing a portlet class and see that we're extending that class to GenericPortlet when I F3 that class name after highlighting it I am told that there is NO SOURCE ATTACHMENT for this class. I cannot find where the SOURCE ATTACHMENT is. That is the source file that I'm trying to locate and unfortunately it is NOT in the src directory which is where our own code resides.
Hope that makes sense and my question more clear.
Oracle does not make source code available for the commercial products (such as the WebLogic line). Javadoc is available for classes that are considered to be part of the product's API.
