Hi

I am searching for Java and Oracle associate video trainings. CBT Nuggets is famous, but I don't like their presentations.

found LearnSmart (http://www.learnsmartsystems.com) their video training are only a few hours (too less?)
Oracle 11g OCA CBT Video Training
     Oracle 11g PL/SQL Develop Program Units            $499
     Oracle 11g SQL Fundamentals I (1Z0-051)           $499
     Oracle 11g Administration I (1Z0-052)                $499
     Oracle 11g Administration II (1Z0-053)                $499
     Oracle 11g PL/SQL Fundamentals (1Z0-144)           $499
Oracle Certified Associate CBT Video Training
Oracle Certified Associate (Java) (CX-310-019)             $350
Did anyone bought their products and can give review? I didn't find reviews in Internet.

Official Oracle trainings are too expensive.

I have not taken any of their Oracle training. I signed up with them for a 'deal' one time that allowed me to pick any one course*. The Oracle courses were not included so I ended up taking their course for *1D0-541: CIW Database Design Specialist* because that was the only course available for a database topic in the 'deal'. That said I was not particularly impressed with the course. The video was professional enough. However, the course as presented spent a good 75% of the time on SQL. Since SQL is only one of ten sections in 1D0-541, that was ridiculously excessive. I'm confident that the instructor had used material from an 'Intro to SQL' style course for Microsoft SQL Server as the basis of the one I took, and just created a little bit of filler on the other topics to generate the one for 1D0-541.

That might be an exception to an otherwise great set of courses, but my introduction to their material was not positive. That said, I paid $1 for the deal. I will admit that I probably got more than a buck's worth of benefit from the course. :)

    They offer many Oracle courses.

LearnSmart (former PrepLogic) has some very bad reviews in RipoffReport and PissedConsumer.

I don't know if I should give them my credit card.

I don't know if I should give them my credit card.
I had a minor hassle getting them to shut off the 1-month trial, but I keep better records than the gentleman that wrote the horror-story novel. If I recall correctly, you are supposed to send them registered mail cancelling or open a service ticket on their website. I opened a service ticket to cancel. They are supposed to email you a copy of the ticket after it is opened. This did not work and I never got a copy of my ticket. This despite the fact that the ticket had the proper address and their sales people certainly had no problems send me emails. However, I had taken a screen-shot of the ticket with my request to cancel. Without that screen-shot, I might have had a cancellation nightmare because I could find no way to find my open tickets without the number. As it was, they did charge me for the first month after the trial. I contacted them and provided the ticket number where I had cancelled the service. They reversed the charge and went away quietly.

I keep careful records any time I'm dealing with online services and especially ones with hyped introductory offers like they had.
