What's the maximum support disk size on v440

    user4027740
      Hi,
My v440 have now 4x72GB disks, I want to replace them with 300GB or more. Did any one tested it? I know 146GB disks are supported but not enough.
      Thanks..

If you have the system covered by a support contract, then you should keep only disks that have been qualified by Sun/Oracle to function. If you do not have support contract coverage, then you use whatever you want to use. It is your system, your property, so do with it as you wish.

If there is a contract that covers that system and you put unqualified components into it, you simply suspend any and all privileges for support or repairs. That's all.
