          You can use same method which you used for keeping llocal listener.log files. From 11g you can directly delete the listener.log from OS, so when new connection comes from listener, this will create new listener.log file automatically.

          Also check http://oraganism.wordpress.com/2011/06/21/interesting-change-in-database-listener-behaviour-at-11g/

          Hope this help

              Hii,

              Follow this procedure:-

              From command prompt got lsnrctl utility

              lsnrctl> set current_listener <scan_listener_name>

              Ex :- set current_listener listener_scan1

              Then

              lsnrctl> set log_status off

              open a seprate window or terminal and go back to log location

              and from os do

              $ mv listener_scan1.log listener_scan1.bak

              $ touch listnener_scan1.log

              and finally go back to lsnrctl window again.

              lsnrctl>set log_status on

              and Finally a new file will be generated and logs will be backed up.

              Regards
              Gaurav
