          Did you configure the mail properties (smtp server) on the Reports Server?

          Do you see any additional error info on the Reports Server Queue?

                Thanks InoL for response..

                In Report Server Conf file ,specified the pluginParam as

                <pluginParam name="mailServer" value="mymailserver">
                <property name="enableSSL" value="yes"/>
                <property name="mailUserName" value="irk@nrsp.org.pk"/>
                <property name="mailPassword" value="mypwd"/>
                </pluginParam>

                  I don't know much about smtp servers. You should contact your mail administrator and check if the properties are correct.
                  It may even be possible that mail requests coming from the Reports Server are blocked by the smtp server in some way.

                  Let me add: a common error in these case is "Relaying denied". Maybe this error is visible on the smtp server. Try sending an email within your own company domain instead of a mail to a gmail address.

                      Strangely enough, I have the same issue.
                      The weird part is that this app server has been running flawlessly for years (literally).
                      I've never seen a failure for emailing report output before.

                      Investigating my email config as well with our I/T admin - perhaps something has changed...

                      RESOLVED... yes, something had changed! There was an old /etc/hosts file on the Oracle Application Server system with an invalid IP address for the mail server.
                      Once this was corrected I simply shutdown and restarted the report server and the reports email correctly once again.
