When I try to run page 37, I get this error:
I don't see any such PL/SQL processes on page 37 or 6. Are you putting them on and taking them back off again??
Error during rendering of page item P37_CUST_NUM. ORA-06550: line 2, column 84: PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist ORA-00942: table or view does not exist ORA-06550: line 1, column 13: PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Can you get page 37 to run successfully and let me know?
I still believe the redirect with the backslashes will work as it worked for me. Get page 37 to run with P37_PO_NUM populated with data, and I'll take a look again.
I'd suggest you create a new page, like page 37, with nothing on it but the two items you want to pass, and an Add_Jobs button. We can then test the passing of P##_PO_NUM with the forward slash in it and resolve your original issue and go from there, potentially with you creating new threads for new issues.
You can simply assign any any value you want to the page item you are going to pass, which removes any other non-related issues.
Here is what was missing. Because this is a text type item, it's session state isn't saved unless you submit the page.
I changed the Add_Jobs button to Submit the page.
I put a condition on the post submit processes to Not execute if the Add_Jobs button was pressed
I created a branch as sequence # 1 that redirects to page 6 and passes the items. (View the setup of that branch.)
I ran page 37, and I entered "3456/7866" into the PO Number and hit the Add_Jobs button.
When I got to page 6, I noted that the PO Number displayed as "3456/7866".
I believe this resolves the issue.
I have a new question, but I am not seeing the option to post a new thread so that's why I am adding it here.
I have a character field which I use a select list to populate. I want to populate another field dynamically when the value of the drop down list field changes. How can I accomplish that?
