What on Earth for?
Yes, I realize this sounds very silly. But there is a good reason. The saved HTML code will be used by another organization that is using Oracle's product "RDB" together with an internally created web browser (I work at a research accelerator facility in CA). Management wants to make sure that the rendered HTML code captured from my Apex form will be displayed as expected by those users (physicists, etc.) that are using this custom browser.
This is why I need a way to capture this rendered HTML code in a file or in a table and then send the file or allow them to SELECT from my table.
I hope this makes sense.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much. I've read through the article and also followed a few links. Hopefully, this will lead me down the right path. Will be doing some more research and, hopefully, others on this Forum can give me more pointers.
Since posting this question I discovered that I really need to find out how to save a form as an HTML (.html) file, rather than trying to capture the actual HTML code. And so, I've posted a new thread and will mark this erroneous question as "answered".
