    Node Manager configuration: using JSSE

    257479
I am using Weblogic 10.3.5 installed under RedHat.

I have configured SSL with a certificate that is encrypted using AES_256_CBC thus requiring the use of JSSE, that I have configured using web console.

After setting up this configuration Node Manager does not work correctly. It raises the following exception:

      java.lang.RuntimeException: Cannot convert identity certificate
      at com.certicom.tls.interfaceimpl.CertificateSupport.addAuthChain(Unknown Source)
      at com.certicom.net.ssl.SSLContext.addAuthChain(Unknown Source)
      at com.bea.sslplus.CerticomSSLContext.addIdentity(Unknown Source)
      at weblogic.security.utils.SSLContextWrapper.addIdentity(SSLContextWrapper.java:144)
      at weblogic.nodemanager.server.SSLListener.init(SSLListener.java:53)
      at weblogic.nodemanager.server.NMServer.start(NMServer.java:206)
      at weblogic.nodemanager.server.NMServer.main(NMServer.java:377)
      at weblogic.NodeManager.main(NodeManager.java:31)

Since it seems the same error that I had before using JSSE on Weblogic Server, I am trying to configure JSSE on Node Manager. I have tried setting JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol -Dssl.SocketFactory.provider=com.sun.net.ssl.internal.SSLSocketFactoryImpl -DUseSunHttpHandler=true on Node Manager startup script without success.

How to enable JSSE on Node Manager? or, in alternative, how to solve the error on Node Manager startup?

      Thanks in advance.
      Regards,
      Giuseppe
