I'm using the Jdev 18.104.22.168 with BPM PS4 Feature Pack.
In my BPMN process I can't use a Service Task activity before Initiator task activity no more. But in earlier versions it was possible.
I need to insert some values in my database before execute my initiator task because I'm using a taskflow in my initiator page that loads a fragment that contais a adf bc form from my datacontrol model by using a view criteria with a bind variable.
So when I load my initiator task, in the page I will load data from my model that comes from my database. If the data is null I get an error in the page loading.
Can anyone help me out?
Instead of doing this in BPM , why not do this in the ADF taskflow ?
Have a default activity (maybe a method call , method resides in AM or managed bean) in which you pass the required params to the view criteria and execute it before getting on to the task ...
I have the same issue, (fetching data from the database using a service task before the initiator task)
could you please explain this a little more?
I have started learning more about ADF and business components but they'r still new to me, really new as a matther of fact!
In the examples of BPM apps I have seen, I couldn't find any use of application modules and business components alongside BPM, so if you could give me a hint I would really appreciate it.
