    Where is fpupdater

Does anyone know where I can download the Java SE Floating Point Updater Tool to correct a security bug in java?

Following the links from the Oracle alert, sends me to -
      http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/fpupdater-tool-readme-305936.html and inside
      http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html#fpupdater

but the software tool is not there for downloading.

The hotfix was only for a specific version of Java I believe, any updates after the ones mentioned in the table of the first link already have it embedded. So just make sure that the runtime is up to date and you're safe.

I can't update the runtime (JVM delivered with multiple products) and I really need to download the fpupdater.

Well then I hope you have an Oracle support contract or you can find it through some other site.

              EDIT:

I won't post a link, but on softpedia.com you can apparently still download the old fpupdater 1.0 version. From what I can tell, the difference between 1.0 and 1.1 is that 1.1 doesn't disable Java auto-update.

              EDIT 2:

While looking around I actually spotted a forum which is dedicated to download issues:

              Perhaps you'll have luck there.
