Hi, i have recovered a database of mode incomplete because i had the online redo logs, so i have been asked what hour of information is opened the database,
So, for answer it, i think that this query give me this answer:
select file#, checkpoint_change#, to_char(checkpoint_time,'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS')
order by file#
So i would like to know if it is correct, that this query really can give me the hour that was opened the data in a database.
CHECKPOINT_CHANGE# : Last SCN checkpointed it represents the SCN written in the control file's and in the datafile's header.
CONTROLFILE_CHANGE# : Last SCN in backup control file; null if the control file is not a backup.
Hi, but a question, i guess it gives me the hour that i did resetlogs, but i need the hour that was inserted the last information in the database that i have opened for give my customers.
See if this query gives you what you want
select controlfile_time, scn_to_timestamp(controlfile_change#) from v$database
