This is urgent!
Does anyone know how to correctly call the following modal plugin from report column link - just like what the demo shows? I was able to import the plugin into my application but was not able to make it work correctly. I created the dynamic action in the page as the following:
Selection Type: jQuery Selector
jQuery Selector: .flash-modal
Under True Actions:
Action: Skillbuilders Modal Page (2.0.0) [Plug-in]
URL Location: Statically Defined
Static URL: f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&APP_SESSION.:::1:::
Auto-close On Element Selector: div#success-message
Dialog Height/Width Mode: Static by pixels
The report column link is defined as this: (I replaced all < by ( and > by ) so that it would show the actual link)
, '(a class="flash-modal" href="#")Open Page(/a)' end as OPEN_PAGE
You didn't tell us what is/is not working. Did you see these:
Please put an example on apex.oracle.com and email me developer credentials along with more details.
Thanks for the prompt response. My problem is that the I don't see the borders of the modal box and the "cross" button that closes the modal box.
I was able to open the page in a modal but, because of the above, there was no way to close the box unless I refresh the page. Also, somehow everything including the headers was pulled when I opened the box.
I just tried to delete the dynamic action on the page and the modal 2.0 plugin. Then, I imported the modal 1.0 plugin that you published earlier - I used it in my another application - and everything worked. It opened the page in a modal box nicely.
For modal 2.0, do I need to reference something in the Oracle HTTP Server because of all those colorbox js, css, and images?
I just reproduced the plugin in apex.oracle.com. You may click on the 'John' link to see the modal. Was it because the way I defined it in the link? I used '(a id="flash-modal" onclick="return false;" href="f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&APP_SESSION.:::1:::")' || "DEMO_CUSTOMERS"."CUST_FIRST_NAME" || '(/a)' as the link. In the plugin settings, I defined 'flash-modal' as a DOM object and 'href' as attribute name.
Now that you've addressed the security issue, you only need to address the theme issue:
Set the File Prefix to #PLUGIN_PREFIX#
Set the Theme to any theme from 1-5
Yes, after I selected a theme, between 1 and 5 within the plugin, it worked. However, I still haven't figured out how to call the modal box from a report row column - same as what you did in the demo. Could you show me what you put in the report link and the dynamic action settings of your modal box plugin?
I think I have similar problem.
I have created the following application and I am trying to use your plugin:
I could manage to show the modal box for Page 3 passing the right parameters, but when I click on cancel or apply changes the modal page does not get closed.
I totally appreciate your help.
