              Post the full and complete error message including the relevant section of the log file.

              Also please provide a link to the Oracle doc you are following for the upgrade so we can, if we wish, review it.

                Hi,

                Is there any specific reason that you want to upgrade to 10.2.0.3, you can even upgrade to 10.2.0.4 (6810189) patchset from oracle.

                Regards,
                X A H E E R

                          I could able to resolve the problem and complete the installation ....

                          It was a below given bug
                          ============================
                          Our OS is AIX 6.1 ML 4 SP1
                          We are hitting a known problem which is partly of Oracle and partly from AIX :

                          Unpublished bug :
                          <BUG:9228329> - 11.1.0.7 OUI FAILS TO DETECT RUNNING PROCESSES CORRECTLY ON AIX 6.1 ML 4 SP1

                          Problem is that the patchset installation is hardcoded to use "fuser -x" option to check running processes. Now on AIX 6.1 ML 4 , fuser has some issues with "-x" argument.
                          /usr/sbin/fuser command gives incorrect processes id with '-x' option<div>
                          <div>AIX has released the following patch to resolve this problem :

                          IZ67400: FUSER GIVES INCORRECT PIDS WITH -X OPTION

                          Once this patch is installed, we shouldnot see this problem.

                          To solve the problem from OUI perspective, we need to use the following workaround :

                          1. Rename the existing fuser binary . i.e. mv /usr/sbin/fuser /usr/sbin/fuser.orig . Touch a blank file : touch /usr/sbin/fuser ; chmod 755 /usr/sbin/fuser
                          -- Note that this operation has to be performed as "root" user.

                          2. Perform the patchset installation.

                          3. Once done, move fuser.orig , back to original.
                          ==========================================

                          Thanks all for contribution.
