We have decided to use an SIT to capture the "Return to duty" date.
I want to add validations to the SIT fields and stop the user from submitting the SIT for approval if the data is not correct.
Eg. the user should enter the absence type, start date, end date and return to duty date.
In case the user enters wrong values, the validations should trigger an error message.
Once the user enters these information correctly and sends it for approval.
At the time of final approval the value should also be updated in the per_absences_attendances table.
Can anybody tell me
1. How to call the api for updation (to update per_absence_attendances) when the final approver approves the SIT.
2. How to call the validations package for the SIT when the user enters the data. (For leaves we have used a user hook.)
