I know there are 3 required test. Is there a specific timeframe the tests must be passed within?
( Exceptions can occur, for instance when stewardship open office 'suddenly' went to Apache ... this seems less likely with Oracle Financials).
Visit http://certification.oracle.com to ensure you have located your certiication and the pre-requisites precisely.

Also, if I read the requirements correctly for certification, only ONE intructor-led, in-class, or recorded courses (within the required list) is required. Even though testing covers 3 areas essentials, general ledger and receivables, only ONE class is required, did I read that correctly?
Lets take a look the certification page:
And Lets take a look the certification page with the fancy grapics certification Pages...
... Up till recently I could have given you the URLs of the certification pages ... but now they are fancy graphics with the same URL:
OKAY ... this new fancy graphics layout is as clear as mud to me. I have spent my time better in fields in Ireland with a grape distributing cow output. Perhaps I am getting oo old.
I think what this is tried to say is:
If you pass 1z0-204 you will get an OCS.
If you pass 1z0-204 and 1z0-215 and a course and got the course submission form submitted you verified you get Payables OCE
If you pass 1z0-204 and 1z0-225 and a course and got the course submission form submitted and verified you get Purchasing OCE
Ignore the steps ... order is irrelevant from a certification viewpoint though you can submit a training course for verification until you have taken it ( though sometimes taking training before an exam rather than after it may make sense).
The big dollar question is will taking one course be sufficient for both exams ... i need the brandy to answer that one and I am curently teetotal.

You are only required to take one course. And just to clarify, exam 204 on its own does not result in a certification.
'E-Business Suite R12 Supply Chain Certified Expert Consultant, Purchasing' certiifcation is an OPN OCS certiifcations not an OCE certification, despeite t he use of he word 'Expert'.
This terminology seems not crick-et.
Apolgies if I misled original poster.
I'm actually concerned about the confusion here because I'm afraid it may indicate that something is amiss on the website.
E-Business Suite R12 Supply Chain Certified Expert Consultant, Purchasing is not an OCS certification, it is OCE. However, do you see somewhere on the website where we indicate that is OCS? This certification is an OCE certification that qualifies for the Oracle PartnerNework Certified Specialist program.
1) Do you see an error on the website? If so, please provide URL and details.
2) Does that make sense or require addl explanation?

Brandye Barrington is correct when stating that 1Z0-225 is an OCE Certification and not an OPN OCS.
Exam series 1Z0-516 Thru 1Z0-521 are OCS certifications and, for consultants who are already working as Oracle APPS Implementors with (OPN) Oracle Partner Network of companies can register via their Employers Partner Network ID so they can get the OPN OCS Certification.
The 5 Series certification are geared towards consultants who are primarily implementers and require no prerequisite training or examination required.
However, if one wishes to write the 1ZO-215, 1Z0-216 (Financials) or 1ZO-225, 1Z0-226 (SCM) Certifications, then one must complete training in all modules from an Oracle Certified School and write 1Z0-204 as prerequisites for the OCE Certifications.
These certification cover a broader scope and imply that the certified individual is capable of implementing and working as an end user or in any other capacity.
I recently concluded my training in all modules of SCM, and wrote exams 1Z0-204 and 1Z0-225. I intend to write 1Z0-226 in a couple of weeks.
My dilemma, and perhaps, a question for Brandye Barrington is that where am i suppose to go and submit these course completion certificates to finally receive my OCE Certifications?
Because when i click on the links on the Oracle website it directs me to a Japanese/Chinese page and i am completely lost.
1) Could you please give me the URL of the page that contains the links to Japanese/Chinese pages? I'll look into this.
2) You can submit your course form at pearsonvue.com/oracle>Submit Course Form. You'll need the name of the course, the city where you took it, the dates, and the enrollment number (if you have it.)

Hope you're doing well..
Thanks for looking into this for me.
And, i finally figured out and submitted my course completion certificates with Pearson Vie and also received my OCE!
As for the Chinese/Japanese link.
This happened when i logged into www.oracle.com, clicked on certifications and then apps and found the 1z0-225 link and clicked on it.
That link redirected me to a Chinese/Japanese site where the script on the page was part English..
I don't know if that's still happening or if that happened because am in India.
Either way, it's all sorted out now.
Ok, i looked into it and now it has a different issue..
When one clicks on the 1z0-225 OCE link it redirects to the OCS page. The last time it redirected me to a Japanese/Chinese page for 225.
It is the second last link on the certification>application>ebs page..
