I wanted to remove browse/manage,recent,most popular contents from obiee homepage. I copied the bieehome file from
C:\oracle\fmw\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\pages\bieehome and then removed the html lines for recent and most popular and saved in
C:\oracle\fmw\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\msgdb\pages\bieehome\. I created the msgd, pages and bieehome folder and then
restarted the services. Still I could see the recent and most popular link in the obiee homepage.
Is there a way to check in enterprise manager the path for bieehome file ? May be in the path msgdb\pages\bieehome folders are missing? I tried to use the same logic in my home computer, there was already a msgdb folder and I created the pages\bieehome page and removed the html lines and it worked.
I was just curious to find the path for bieehome.html file from console or em .
- Locate the bieehome.htm file from the following path, C:\oracle\fmw\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\pages\bieehome
- Copy the file and paste it into this folder path (if some sub folders don't exist create it), C:\oracle\fmw\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\msgdb\pages\bieehome\
