I have 2 questions/feature requests for the SQL formatter.
1) I think leading-comma formatting is quite regular, but it seems not to be properly supported by the formatter. What I think it should be is the following:
But the oly things you can accomplish is either this (by checking only "Line breaks"/"Before comma"):
or this (by checking both "Line breaks"/"Before comma" and "Line breaks"/"After comma"):
2) It would be practical to be able to only use leading comma formatting in the SELECT fields, not in GROUP BY, ... as it isn't quite needed there...
The bug is logged I do not know if or when it will get prioritized.
If you think it is required please provide a more thorough testcase, the proposed change may conflict/interact with existing options.
use code tags [ code ] [ / code ] (but without the spaces) to get formatting preserved in posts.
It may not be a bug, you could raise an enhancement request in the SQL Developer Exchange (link at the top of the forum)
