There is a simple ADF page with a table and a form, bounded to an iterator.
When I do some changes in a form, the table is automatically refreshed.
Now I set a table filter like "Name=ABC%" and see a record.
In the form I change a row Name to "XYZ" - the table is automatically refreshed and the row is lost as soon as there's "Name=ABC%" filter applied.
End user is astonished. He found a row. Changed it. And lost it immediately.
Is there any reasonable solution without losing table autorefresh?
The filter in a table works in-memory so if your form changes the Name in the table too then this is a valid scenario (I'm assuming you have a PPR on your table and teh form is also based on the same table)
You are having two different fields to filter on the same data.
The best solution is to clear the other filter when you do a search on one filter and vice versa - so that you would get a consistent look and feel for the application.
