I executed a procedure in toad. But because of connection breakdown I got ORA-03113-end-of-file on communication channel. And I am not sure whether procedure is executing now or not.Generally it takes 6 hours for the procedure to get executed .And the connection got brokedown at the end of 2nd hour.Still most part of it needs to be executed. Can you please suggest me whether it will be good to start the procedure execution from the scratch or not ?
I checked in session browser, there is a session entry for that failed session
As you didn't post the code and we don't know your procedure, please answer your own question.
If there are 1 or more COMMITs in the procedure, the answer is NO.

It really depends what your procedure is doing.
e.g. if it's a batch process that's driven from a queue, there's a chance you'll be able to re-run it, and it will continue where it failed.
But it's impossible to say for sure without knowing exactly what your code is doing.
